At long last... A challenger!

Yesss... After 5 long weeks of playing basketball alone, finally someone has the guts to invite me for a game of 2-on-2! I've been waiting for somebody to invite me at least for a 1-on-1, but I guess with the beard that I keep giving me the look of an adult, these teenagers feel shy and afraid. Hah! Well, I know I should be treated as an adult (or rather a youth), but don't be afraid of me!! Come la ajak aku main, no problem. I prefer playing basketball with others rather than playing alone... Even if you're a newbie to basketball...

What's great is that this time, the person yang ajak is somebody yg very gempak! Somebody I've often seen playing here 2 and a half years ago, just before I went to Uniten. Huhhh... Gua cakap lu, that guy memang terer giler la skill basketball dia masa tu. I think at that time he was Form 3, making him now just waiting to masuk university. But now, I heard he rarely plays. For what reason I dunno, but still I can see his skill in shooting and dribbling and going for layups. And also the "hang-time" he has while jumping helps him make shot adjustments in order to evade the defence. There's this one time he evaded simultaneous blocking attempts from me and my teammate at the same time, while double-clutching the ball and then going for the layup. Waaa... damn great I tell you for someone as young as him. I'd like to get to know him better la kalo bole. Kalo dapat ajak dia main Adidas 3-on-3 best tuuu...

Tomorrow afternoon at 6 p.m. I rasa nak pegi main lagi at the same place, with hopes of seeing him again. Tapi geram la tengok skill dia. Rasa nak je buat dia pressure & susah nak score. Hahaha...

All in all, a very good game of basketball I had just now. Even though I lost 14-15, but it is a very good game. Bring it on man...
