1st week in Uniten... bole la tahan...

Weh people! Sorry for not updating my blog... Belum ada Internet kat bilik maaa... tapi takpe, starting from this afternoon, my room should be able to connect to the Internet. Then, it seems I'll go back to wasting time online I guess... Hmmm... on second thought, maybe not. I'll restrict myself this time coz I want to get great grades for this semester. And what's more, I also have my final year project to work on. Ugh... gerun... gerun...

A number of things have changed since Uniten started it's new sem. A new student apartment has been opened, a new IT college has been launched, and a few other miniscule things. The new apartment is called Amanah, and is situated a bit far (when u walk la) from my apartment, which is Cendekiawan. I have yet to visit the buildings, but I expect it to be much better than Cendekiawan. What's more, students living there don't have to walk all the way to Upten (for those not in the know, it's what we Unitenians call the food court near our mosque) for dinner. They can just use a back door they have close to their apartment and take a short walk to a row of kedai makan, Lot 10. Sape yg dah biasa pegi Permata will know which shops that I mean laaa...

My classes also started this past Monday, and I'll start to take my electives this semester. Some of them are quite okay and easy to understand, while a few of them, like the "Internal combustion engine" class I'm taking feels quite hard to grasp. I think I'll change that elective to something else. Probably "Environmental engineering". Whatever I choose, I'll only have till this weekend to make up my mind. Starting next week, no changes to subjects are allowed. Hmmm... some thinking required...

Talking about new things in Uniten, I forgot to mention that new foundation year students (i.e. juniors) have just enrolled and started classes. My verdict? Semua cam budak2 laaa... and it just makes me feel sooo old in this university. At 23, I'm among the oldest in this university. I know, there are other older people than me also studying for degree courses here, but their numbers are few. Most of the students here come direct from SPM, thus that's what makes me feel so ancient. Hehehe... I don't care la... But it's nice to hear these juniors call you abang, especially the female ones. ;)

Well, I'll just sign off now. I wanna have lunch. Belum makan dari pagi tadi ni... *stomach grumbling*...
