I hate Akademi Fantasia!

As the title says it: I hate AF. I don't mind it if it's the object of everybody else's infatuation. I don't care if other people want to waste their money by AFUNDI this guy and AFUNDI that girl. I seriously don't care. You can do whatever you want that's related to that show: chat, post blogs, give comments. I don't care one single bit. But once you AF fans interfere with my interests, that's what PISSES ME OFF!!!

And this was what happened last night (to be exact, Saturday night), during the final concert of AF. Me, my friend Ikrom, and a lot of other football fans were watching the first English Premiere League match of the season: Spurs vs. Liverpool, at Syed Bistro (the one near the old Giant Supermarket in KJ). It was the start of the second half, and we're waiting eagerly for the next half to start. And guess what happens next? Somebody at the front of the shop asked the mamak to change the channel to AF. DAMN! We football fans watching at the front were so very pissed off with this sudden change of programme.

We can't believe this was happening. Kedai mamak, as I know it, was a haven for people to come watch live football telecasts together. And these AF fans have broken the tradition. Argh! There was this one guy who was so very frustrated with what was happening, he just stormed off. I guess Syed Bistro has lost one customer then.

Nevertheless, I don't understand these AF fans. If you people wanna watch AF, go do it at your homes! Don't come to kedai mamak. I particularly pity those men that came to watch football due to their wives and children watching AF. Where else can they go if all kedai mamak are showing AF??? I know, some AF fans don't have Astro, but, if you're so willing to SMS AFUNDI, why are you not willing to subscribe to Astro? Huh???

Luckily the football match last night was not so important, since I don't support Liverpool and it's not a very highly-rated match like the match tonight between Chelsea and Man U. And luckily AF is over for now. I definitely cannot accept it if AF is chosen over a match between Arsenal and Man U in the future!

Enough of that for now. :) I'm just back from watching Man U lost (yeay!) it's game against Chelsea, 0-1. Gudjohnsen scored the only goal of the game. And of course, before that, as expected, Arsenal won 4-1 against Everton. ;)

Now I'm planning whether to stay up and watch the Olympic basketball match between USA and Puerto Rico or not. Hmmm... it is Team USA after all... Would it be worth the price of staying up? Hmmm...
