Racing Stripes

Went to Midvalley today with 2 of my friends (A and B) and another 2 of their friends (a couple), to watch Racing Stripes. It was a good show, and quite funny actually. Especially the jokes made by the fly characters voiced by David Spade and someone else I don't know.

Yup, the story is as predictable and as corny as any kiddie show is, but the show is still passable as a good one. It's about how a zebra wants to be a racehorse and join a horse race (the Kentucky Derby). Along the way, he'll of course succumb to the predictable, customary initial failure, pick himself up again, train again, and finally at the very last minute, his rival attempts to block his path to glory by trying to disallow him to enter the race. As usual, the plan won't work, and finally the zebra wins the race. Predictable, as usual.

After that, A, B and I parted ways with the "couple", and we spent time at Coffee Bean chatting. Which is a good thing actually, for 3 reasons: 1, because friend A wanted to treat me to an ice-blended coffee for helping A out with many things. To that, I am very grateful. THANK YOU! 2, because I finally found out that caramel ice-blended is not a good choice of flavour - it's too sweet! Next time I'll buy something else. 3, because from the chat we had, I find that I finally am able to feel comfortable with friend B, which I can't say was possible before this. We know each other, and we occasionally chat online, but I rarely know what to say to B. But now, I hope things will work out better.

Sorry for venting out about smoking in my previous blog post okay? Just wanted all smokers out there to know how uncomfortable I am when I'm around them, when they smoke.

Uniten's mid-semester break starts next week, so happy holidays everyone! Me? I think I'll not be too happy with my holidays this time, because I think I'll be stumped with loads of work. My final year project of course, which I surprisingly haven't even started yet! Gilo apooo...
