Boredom sucks

My friend and I went out again today, and this time we went to watch 2 movies in a row! Heheh... finally was able to convince that friend to do what I like to do on Fridays. We both watched Robots and Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events (Lemony for short). Both were great, although I think Lemony was better in terms of acting and story.

Robots was darn hilarious! The jokes and antics they put on show was so very funny. For those not in the know, it's an animated movie about Robots, as the title suggests. I malas nak give you the synopsis of the story, but it's OK la. A simple story. But what made it great was the hilarious jokes!

Lemony on the other hand was fantastic due to great acting by Jim Carrey as the evil Count Olaf and funny one-liners from the toddler character Sunny. She couldn't really speak English, but just babbles some unintelligible baby talk. But we as movie-goers get to see what she means by reading the subtitles in English, and her one-liners are funny. She speaks like a grown-up!

I pity my friend. And even everyone else that goes out with me, for that matter. Why? Coz I find that I'm very boring in person. When I go out with people, I tend to be quiet. I speak only when I must, such as like breaking a silence that's too long, but rarely do I continue speaking with enough ideas and verve to make the conversation more stimulating and enjoyable.

Entah la. Try as I might, I can't seem to change this. What do you guys think? From my writings, do you find me a boring person? I may write long entries in my blog and when I chat with people, but when I go face-to-face with another person, I tend to not know what to say. Weird, but true.

Anyway, officially, tomorrow marks the start of the most hectic week in my life. I plan to finish all my assignments this weekend, and resume my final year project's execution and try to finish as much of it as possible by the end of next week. So in order to accomplish that, I think I may have to not sleep much over the course of next week. Maybe only 3 to 4 hours of sleep per day. I know it's kind of like suicide, but I must. I MUST! I must try to get the best grade I can for my final year project. Plus I want to graduate ASAP. In order to do that, my project must be completed.

After all, I spent four fifths of the semester relaxing myself by playing games and wasting time. Thus I've already dug a hole for myself to jump into already. Now's the time for me to crawl out of this 20-feet deep hole using only my hands! Gotta do it as quickly as I can before somebody starts covering this hole up and leaving me alone in here. :(

Hmm I guess that's enough lah. Time to go to sleep. Gotta wake up at 6 a.m. tomorrow morning so that I can reach Uniten by 7.30 a.m. We Power Gen students are having a class trip to Connaught Bridge Power Station tomorrow. Yeah, the power plant I went to previously for my final year project research. But no matter, I'll just go again. :)
