Oh no... Lakers are leading 3-2!

Ugh... how can this happen! The LA Lakers that I hate soooo much (as much as I hate Man United and the Ferrari team) have won 3 games in a row, after losing their first 2 games of the western conference semifinals... This is not happening! :(

Regardless, I think the Lakers will win this series and advance to the next round, which I envision will be a western conference finals between the Lakers & the Minnesota Timberwolves. Although the Wolves' series against the Sacramento Kings are tied at 2-2, I feel that the West's top seeded team will not falter against the Kings. I expect they'll finish the series in 7 games, with Wolves winning it.

It's been quite a dissapointing season in basketball for me... coz the players that I really expect to have an impact this season: T-mac and especially Vince Carter, after his long hiatus from the Playoffs. What's worse is that T-mac's team, the Orlando Magics, are currently having the worst record in the league. They're even worse than the post-Michael Jordan era Chicago Bulls! Ugh...

But the one disappointment that hurt me most is not being able to see Vince Carter in action in the Playoffs. I can still vividly remember the 2001 Playoffs where Vince and the Toronto Raptors were fighting it out in the Eastern semis against Allen Iverson and the Philadelphia 76ers. That was one of the best series ever (although I didn't have the chance to see it - no Astro laaa), where Vince scored 50 points once and Iverson did the same twice. But unfortunately, Raptors lost the series 4-3, with the final game being very close: 88-87, and Vince missed the potential game winning shot.

Well, I think you guys & gals would not be interested at all in what I said above right? I know that most Malaysians don't have an interest in basketball, let alone the NBA. You people prefer football (especially the English Premier League) more than basketball. But basketball is among my most favoured sports (I play it too), alongside football (which I don't play, just minat je). Apart from sports, I am also into computer and video games, PC hardware, and movies. :)
