It's totally my day!

I feel so happy today because I got to watch 2 matches that are so very exciting and at the same time, having results that are what I hope they would be. I'm an avid "non-supporter/hater" of England and the LA Lakers, and when both lost last night, I felt so elated!

The greatest match in terms of excitement would be the Euro 2004 England vs. France match. That was totally awesome! Well, generally the match was not that interesting because England, after gaining their first goal, just played total defense and disallowed the French to execute their excellent attacking play. But what was exciting was the two goals in the last 2 minutes of stoppage time that sealed France's win. Gile la! From 1-0 down, they came back and won it 2-1 by scoring 2 stoppage time goals. That was very, very great. That was why I felt it was exciting. Plus, it's also great to see those England fans who thought their team would win it finally despaired when they lost. Hahaha...

After that, I stayed up and watched the LA Lakers' game 4 match against the Detroit Pistons in the NBA Finals. The Pistons were leading the series 2-1 before playing the game, and obviously, the Lakers are trying to win 1 so that they can even out the series at 2-2. The game was actually not going into both teams' favour in the first three quarters, as the score at the end of the third quarter was tied. Then, the Pistons made a run in the fourth quarter that finally extended their lead to 10 points and thereafter, the Lakers did not get closer than 8 points. Again, I find it great because the Lakers are one game closer to being eliminated. In a series that everybody expects them to win emphatically, with the Pistons having no chance of challenging them. Hahaa... have a taste of your own medicine, oh "mighty" Lakers!

Yesterday I watched the finals of the PES3 game and the winner of the finals was this Chinese guy named Man Wai. Actually, when I saw how he played in the Finals, I really feel that he is not actually very good. Betul aku cakap, my friends at UK (particularly Batuk & Chaon) are much, much greater than him. But still, I'll just give credit where credit's due, and he won. That's that. Unfortunately I didn't capitalise la on the absence of Batuk & Chaon this year and win the tournament. Next year they'll definitely be back in Malaysia, and if they participate in this tournament then, it'll surely be hard for me to win! Nevertheless, I'll just try my best la...

Tomorrow I'm watching another free movie that I won tickets to. I'm not sure most of you know this movie. It's title is "Honey". It stars Jessica Alba as the main character. My friend said it's kinda possibly a lovey dovey movie or something, so I won't go into the theater expecting a great movie. But who knows, hopefully it is a good movie...
