Phase 1 of spending spree completed!

Hi people. I just came back from Sunway Pyramid, doing some shopping for items that I would like to buy. Maklum la, my YTN allowance pun baru masuk. Nak la beli barang baru. ;)

First on my list is a pair of pants. I prefer something along the lines of khakis. But definitely not jeans la. I don't like wearing them. That's why I don't have one for the past 13-14 years. And I don't intend to get one in the near future.

Thus, while looking around, I stumbled upon a pair of pants that look like khakis. I think specifically it's called chinos, but what do I care? As long as the colour and textile is right, any type of pants is okay in my books. So I went and tried it out. Everything's fine, except for one caveat: they can't alter the pants' length, coz they do not offer alteration services. Ahh... this is one of many hardships of people having short legs like mine... :( I went on and bought the pants anyway. I guess I'll either have to live with folding both edges of the pants, or alter it myself (not exactly myself, I'll just find another person to do it for me).

Next, I searched for a pair of sandals to replace the slippers that I've used for the past one and a half years. I looked around and saw that this one pair at Bata is very comfortable and quite affordable, but again, another caveat: the edge of the sandals' heels (insole, not outsole part) stick out quite prominently. So, when I wore them, I would sometimes feel like something is constantly pushing my heels. Well, it's not that bad actually, just a minor annoyance. I bought it anyway, hoping that that feeling will grow into me until I won't even sense it's presence.

There you go, 2 items. I actually planned to also buy a D-Link 5 port switch for my friend, and a Canon scanner for me. But the price at Sunway Pyramid is a bit higher than Low Yat's. So I guess I'll just buy it at Low Yat, since I'll be going to KLCC tomorrow to claim my free Spiderman 2 tickets. Yes, free! Once again, I won a pair of tickets, and the show is on next Tuesday, possibly at night. Who's going with me? I dunno, I have nobody to go with me. I guess I'll just invite my friend Epit. He'll surely be free at that time.
