How being prepared early is important...
Friday, July 09, 2004 I went back from Uniten this past afternoon, at 5.30 p.m., and I was rushing! Rushing because I wasn't prepared well in advance. I waited until the last minute to pack my things, and in the confusion and mess that occurred, I forgot to bring back along with me a few things, namely my clothes to be washed and the AC adapter for the switch that I brought back to be used at home. And what's worse is that I forgot where I placed those clothes (which I had already packed in a plastic bag). I wasn't sure at all whether I placed them in my room or outside! If it was outside, abis la baju2 kesayanganku tu, coz those makcik2 & kakak2 indon cleaners will surely amik those clothes & buat harta sendiri. So, obeying the obsessive-compulsive part of me, I drove back to Uniten on my own (after I already arrived at my home, no less), spent around 2 hours on the road (due to the traffic jams), only to find that my clothes were in my room after all. I hadn't had to worry in the first place! Ugh... how ironic... It even cost me RM 3.20 becoz of the tolls... The moral of the story? Always prepare in advance... never do anything at the last minute, coz it'll just put your mind in a state of disarray, and you'll forget all the things that you're supposed to do... Next time, I'll certainly be prepared. Posted by Nikman Shah at 11:57 pm ![]() | *** |
