The occasion was okay...
Sunday, September 05, 2004 Well, it turned out fine, after all. I'm talking about me meeting Ha's father, her aunts, uncle and cousins. But as usual, I didn't talk much to her father and uncle (actually, I didn't talk to them at all!). Well, I dunno what to say, but maybe it's because I suck in chatting with older ppl. The art of chatting is to find a common ground that I and the person I'm chatting with share. Then the ideas will start flowing in, right? But with older ppl, I dunno what I should talk about. Sigh... Surely I made a bad impression to him. But with Ha's aunts, okay la, everything was fine, I think. Although I was the one being bombarded with questions. It's like an interrogation! Huhuhu... But it was good, nonetheless. I didn't find my chat with Ha's aunts very intimidating. :) And Ha's cousins? They were every bit as cute as the pics Ha showed to me. :) But they didn't say a single word to me at all. They're shy, I guess. After taking pictures with Ha and her family, on the way home, I stopped by the new shopping complex in Putrajaya, Alamanda. To me, Alamanda is a small shopping complex. It cannot be compared with KLCC and Midvalley. Maybe in terms of size, it can be compared with Sunway Pyramid. Alamanda is just 2 storeys high, and didn't have a large variety of shops. So, it definitely is not the best place to go shopping. But, as my friend said, it's a shopping haven for ppl from Putrajaya and Cyberjaya, coz they don't have to travel all the way to KL, PJ or Puchong just to go shopping. They can just do it in Alamanda. As for groceries, Alamanda has u covered: it's main anchor is Carrefour. But I'll give credit where credit is due: the place is very scenic. It has this water fountain and park thingy, not unlike the one in KLCC, but smaller in size. Plus, the innards of the shopping complex are not yet fully completed. For instance, the food court has yet to be opened, and some shops are still closed since construction has not yet finished. I think in 3 to 4 months' time, I'll come visit Alamanda once again and see how it turns out then. Ish... kemaruk nak minum Ice-blended laaa... Siot tul...
