Uh oh... we're in the danger zone...

Just came back from watching Arsenal vs Southampton. The match almost everybody thought would be won easily by Arsenal. In the end, Arsenal didn't win. They drew. 2-2. Thanks to a last-minute goal from Robin van Persie. What luck. Well, actually, he did score spectacularly. A very good shot from inside the penalty area that was full with defenders.

But it was really not Arsenal's day. Bergkamp won a penalty in the first half, but Henry shot the penalty kick off the right-hand post. Wasteful. Then, Arsenal missed countless chances to score. That was until the goal Henry scored, which came due to Bergkamp's beautiful floated through ball, which beat Southampton's offside trap.

But then, they played ineffectively, which finally culminated in a useless foul that Cygan gave (whom I think is the worst Gunners player on the field today). Southampton used this chance to cross into the penalty area, which resulted in a corner kick, and from this corner kick, Southampton scored the equaliser, through a header by Delap. See how foolish the initial foul was?

Then, in the next five minutes, Southampton scored again from a corner kick, and again, through Delap's header. They were ahead by 2-1. And not much time left on the clock.

It remained this way until van Persie scored the final minute equaliser. And even then, from the kick-off which followed, Arsenal had a chance to even go for the winner due to a mistake by the Southampton defence, but the referee gave a foul call instead of allowing play to go on, even when Henry had the ball at his feet and nobody was in his way. Ugh...

Needless to say, the resultant free kick didn't change the final scoreline, although the Gunners came close to scoring the winner but van Persie's glancing header was too weak and was collected cleanly by goalkeeper Niemi.

And so it finished 2-2.

But these are dangerous times for Arsenal, as they only lead the Premiership table based on goal difference. They're level on points with Chelsea. But what's joyful is to see Man U losing 2-0 to Portsmouth. Hahaha... serves them right! Tu laaa, berlagak sangat, kata nak gain momentum from the win against Arsenal. Cehhhhhh... :P Dengan Portsmouth kalah pulak... hampeh... Muahahaha...

Nothing much happened with my life, by the way. Completed my first final exam paper yesterday, "Environmental Engineering". Was okay, but I'm not that confident to say that it's a sure A punye subject. But nevertheless, I'll just doa and tawakal.

4 more papers coming up: next Wednesday's "Production, Planning and Control", followed by "Numerical Methods" the next day, and finally "Engineers in Society" and "Heating, Ventilating and Air-conditioning" on Friday. Rather hectic, I must say, but I feel quite confident to face them all.

As for now, I'm currently finishing up an assignment for my Numerical Methods subject, to be submitted next week. It's quite important actually, coz it can bring up my carry-over marks for that subject, thus increasing my chances to get an A.
