I predict a downslide for Arsenal...
Monday, November 29, 2004 Wow, what a game. I went to Syed Bistro with my friend Sham, and we watched the huge Liverpool vs. Arsenal match. And unexpectedly, Liverpool won. I said unexpectedly because when the score was tied at 1-1, in second half injury time, with only seconds remaining on the clock, Neil Mellor scored quite an impressive game-winning goal, after being almost a non-factor for the whole match. The final score: Liverpool 2, Arsenal 1. And who benefited from this slip-up? Chelsea and Man U, of course. Chelsea extended their lead to 5 points atop the Premiership table, while Man U now trail Arsenal by only 4 points. Somehow, I don't think either Man U nor Arsenal will be this season's Premiership champions. Instead, I think Chelsea will win it. When their offense were ineffective in the early stages of the Premier League, they still won, even though with 1-0 scorelines. And now, with their offense clicking, they win impressively, with 4-0's. Giler. No matter, to me, as long as Man U doesn't win the Premiership title, I'll be satisfied. :D Abu, congrats to your Chelsea team aaa.. :) Posted by Nikman Shah at 2:39 am ![]() | *** |
